What Documentation do I need?

Do I need a referral?
No, if you have a qualifying condition you may apply for a 329 card and seek evaluation without a medical referral.
Do you accept insurance?
No, medical insurance does not cover the cost of the card or the evaluation.
Does Kahala Cannabis supply medical marijuana?
No, you can take your card to any of the dispensaries in Hawaii.
Where else is my card valid?
While some states do not require a card at all because of permitted recreational use, state marijuana laws vary and it best to check with each state's laws. Currently Medical Marijuana has been legalized in 25 states and recreational marijuana in 5 others.
Can I travel with my medical marijuana?
Medical marijuana remains illegal under federal law, so it is illegal to fly with marijuana even between our neighbor Hawaiian islands, it is best not to travel with medical marijuana.
Is there an age limit?
There is no minimum age for qualifying for a medical marijuana card, but patients under the age of 18 are required to have an adult caregiver give consent.
What is the pricing involved in obtaining my medical marijuana card?
The initial consultation and evaluation is priced at $200 (plus $38.50 for DOH registration).
The renewal fees for your card are $150 for a 1 year renewal or $300 for a 2 year renewal.
